Who this is for: Staff with a linked SchoolRota login
What you'll achieve: See your day on a phone or tablet and get alerts when your rota is published, your duty is moved, or a change request is decided

Install

The SchoolRota app is one listing for every school. Search SchoolRota on the App Store or Google Play, or ask your office for the link.

First sign-in

1. Find your school by name.
2. If your school uses SSO, choose Sign in with your school. Complete Microsoft, Google, or Okta in the system browser.
3. If you use email and a password, enter those. Privileged local accounts still enter an authenticator code.
4. Optionally turn on Face ID, Touch ID, or your device lock. That only unlocks this device; it does not replace school sign-in.
5. Optionally allow duty alerts. You can refuse and still use the app.

Later launches unlock with the device lock until you sign out, switch school, or your school disables the account.

What you can do

• Today / week / month: the same My schedule data as the web portal
• Did not happen on a duty or weekly block (not lunch), after a confirm step
• Request change on a duty when the school allows writes, after a confirm step
• Inbox of in-app notices: duty moves on the live board, confirmation that your change request was received, and the lead's approve or reject decision
• Account: alerts, device lock, sign out, privacy request

You cannot publish rotas, edit setup, or open Admin from the app.

Offline

The last fetched Today and week stay on the device, marked with an updated time. Change requests and missed-work logs need a connection.

Privacy

Lock-screen alerts never include names or posts. Requesting deletion signs this device out and asks your school (the data controller) to decide what records to keep. See Staff app account help.
